Thanks to our sponsors Battenfeld’s Christmas Tree Farm and Ulster Saving’s Bank, we’ve launched a community ornament project! We’ve purchased 500 ornaments which you can pick up for free throughout Red Hook. Like mini-time capsules, these ornaments open up and we’d like you to write a happy memory from 2020 and place it inside. Then, decorate your ornament as you wish and come hang it on our tree on the Elmendorph Green at 7562 N. Broadway. We will save your memories in our collections so that future generations have proof that hope survived in the face of 2020’s calamities.
