Programs Commitee

Plan Fun Events and Bring Community Together

Join our Programs Committee and help create engaging experiences that connect people with history!

What You'll Do

The Programs Committee meets monthly—either in person or via Zoom—to plan a mix of engaging and informative events for a broad audience. Our current programs include:
Soup & Chili Nights – A cozy gathering with great food and conversation
Cemetery Crawl – Tours of cemeteries and a fun, competitive scavenger hunt uncovering local history
Then & Now Series – Exploring Red Hook’s past and its connection to today
Speaker Series – Covering a wide range of historical topics

What We're Working on Now

We're planning the remainder of this year's events and looking ahead to Rev 250, the celebration of the U.S.'s 250th birthday. This will be a major initiative, and we need creative minds to help make it a success!

Time Commitment

🕒 Monthly meetings + event participation as needed. Flexible opportunities available!

Who Should Join?
