Grass Fed Bluegrass Band

In 2007 friends met up for small bluegrass jams in Rhinebeck New York and Grass Fed was Born. Dan Budd song writer, lead vocals, Guitar. Pete Conklin Mandolin and harmony vocals, Lynn Lipton upright Bass, Terry Ghee Fiddle and Gary DiGiovanni Banjo. Grass Fed performs mostly original tunes. Many songs carrying the traditional bluegrass “boom chick”, driving rhythm, and high lonesome sound. Along with a blend of Folk and singer songwriter styled tunes with heart felt story lines. Sprinkling in some fiddle tunes, sing alongs and bluegrass classics, Grass Fed is always a foot stomping treat that brings back that acoustic community music vibe and charm to our historic Elmendorph Inn. Bring your chairs and get ready for some picking and grinning!
